The IDHRC is an umbrella organization that brings together faith-based, voluntary, private and government organizations active in disaster services. As Iowa's State VOAD, we are an affiliate of the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD). Our mission is to coordinate a holistic approach to disaster recovery by maximizing resources and providing efficient support to impacted citizens.
We welcome faith-based, voluntary, private and government organizations that are active in disaster services to join our network. Membership provides access to our collaborative network, training opportunities, and coordination meetings. Please contact us directly to discuss membership options and how we can support your organization's disaster response mission.
